Bisexual and Pervy Uke! Adorable and Respectful Seme! Wholesome Couple! Great Art!
Like omg it's like the creator took everything I love and want to see in a yaoi manga and put it in this like shit, this could go on for 50+ chapters, I'd read every single goddam one of them.
I can't stop vibing with this

Urgh, parents like that. This is why a lot of gay folks take forever to realize their sexuality and grow up feeling confused like they're abnormal for not talking in love with the opposite sex or for feeling attraction to the same sex. Imagine if his mom had helped him out, used it as an opportunity to discuss what sexuality is, helped him sort out his feelings etc.

She was definetly already stressed but she just brushed his sexuality under the rug when he was genuinely confused and reached out to her for help :(
And yeah unfortunately a lot of parents are but it's changing with new generations. But culture also comes into it, my religious parents would've sent me to a religion-based school if I had asked that question instead of public school (where thankfully I learned it was normal). I was slow so even after sex-ed it still took me a while to realize I liked girls lol

It really bothers me that glasses guy has a change of heart, not because he realized he was being too judgemental in general and lacked empathy, but because he finds out Ayato is Ren's brother and not her dad.
And it's like the author's trying to make it seem like that's why this situation is sympathetic. Like bitch, no. Why should someone who's taking time off work to get help with their situation be treated like that? Who cares if they're a single parent, they shouldn't need some sob story for you to help them, just do the job you're trained to do.

Right but that doesnt mean that he should just make assumptions. If he's that sensitive to it, then he should be working in an office where he talks to people in all kinds of situations every day. He also should've at least been disciplined for it. Because y i k e s at having a judgemental guy in that position.
Also, that aside, my other issue was with the the creator portraying him only regretting his actions after learning the MC's pitiful situation as perfectly reasonable or expected.

Oh, absolutely, his job isn't to judge, but to assist. And even if it's a deadbeat dad, he's supposed to be a civil servant and serve.
However, I believe his behaviooral change IS understandable given his error in judgment and the sympathetiic situation of the character/sister. He was being an ass, and I conjectured why he might be an ass.... :)

Oh no worries, I understand he changed his behaviour because of receiving new information. I was just annoyed at the creator for writing his character like that, the type to let his personal feelings influence his work in a sensitive industry. Especially bec a lot of times, it reflects on the author themselves, y'know?

Oh I think that'll happen in general, but she still definitely wrote it as if the other mc's situation is why he had his change of heart. It's like yeah he has a change of heart, but it was for the wrong reason. Should've just been "oh I acted unprofessionally, I should help him out" instead of "oh he's not a single dad, he got put into a bad situation and I misunderstood and should help him out now".
Even if he grows now, I'm still gonna think about how she wrote it as him only going back after realizing the misunderstanding.
Sorry idk if I expressed that well enough lol, but that's why ppl are pissed.
Loved the lesbian couple too. Especially the light-haired one and the way she threatened the guy haha.
And the way they schooled on him on everything!
Only thing was how the uke was clearly only stated to be older, since seems like even the creator forgot to draw his light undereyes lines sometimes. He looked like he's 20.
