I usually go hard for the toxic red flags ngl, but there's just something so uniquely different for this pairing that I can't help but feel polarized. Ever since Jaekyung pulled that crazy shit with Blondie (Heesung) I just lost all feeling for Jaekyung as the main love interest, and it's made even worse by how delusional Kim Dan is. Like, I find myself just sighing and shaking my head more often than not. Even though I know they'll be end game, I feel apathetic and like I am reading just to read atp.

Everything is happening so fast, characters are shallow, and the translations are a bit weird. I glimpsed the art and was initially excited but this whole thing is kinda pointless unless you're just in it for the porn.

Soo-young your luck is absolute dog sh**. Honestly, I'm used to red flags but this is the first time in a long time I've come across one that genuinely gives me the creep. No. I don't even think creep is the exact word. He gives me the ICK. Of course I have an unhealthy addiction for red flag tops so I still enjoy this story but damn is Sooyoung screwed to high hell with this one. At least with guys like Sangwoo you know what you're getting up front. Meanwhile, Jihwan makes me yearn for Jaekjyung lmaooo. I always think Kim Dan is pitiable but at least he's delusional af about Jaekyung. Soo-young doesn't seem like the type that would put up with messed up treatment so I see much more hurt in his future. Oh to be as delusional as Kim Dan is it's own kind of mercy.

I've only read a few chapters and it looks interesting... But the art is so boring, especially the "spicy" scenes that does nothing but repeat the same damn angles.

I'm so confused. Did I read the synopsis wrong? I went in expecting the emperor to be a tyrant... and I kept thinking "It's an act, right? The emperor is actually pretty cool and cunning, right?" But as of chapter 4 the emperor really seems embarrassingly pathetic. A lame wuss. A puppet. Even if it is a n act, left bad first impression for me. Like, I couldn't even enjoy the romance in these first few chapters because the emperor seems like such a loser.... like a whiny child who only cares about the blonde dude. I can see why they want to get rid of him. Or, maybe that's the point and he's supposed to be pathetic... But then he's not my kind of top. Or maybe if the synopsis was more clear, I wouldn't have went in with such great expectation for the top. I'll keep reading... but yeah, NOT impressed so far.
