This makes me remember my gay uke friend (yes he's an uke) in my high school days where he confessed to the one he likes but got turn down. His crush was super cool about it though, saying "i love you too, but just not in that way, i'm sorry", even though he's like the 'badass'/joker of the class. Since then they're still hanging out with each other and still being touchy, and i continued shipping them along with my other gay friend. There's no drama whatsoever.
