I have few questions after rereading this again 1. when he was about to die and said "After school let's go home together" was that directed to his ex?? because in the beginning of the story he said something like that to him. If he did say that does that mean he still had feelings for him?? 2. did the fucking ex go crazy or something at the end of the story?

1. Yes it was directed to his ex. In the novel it is written better. In his last moment he dreamt of his school life and saw his ex and they went home together. That's the last thing he saw before he died. Also in the novel it shows that when the ex goes to the old house and falls asleep he hallucinates of seeing mc telling him the same thing. Ex sees mc and rushes to catch the hand mc stretched out and says yes let's go and then passes out and waked up at the hospital. Quite bittersweet isn't it ╥﹏╥

2. As for the second thing no he didn't go crazy. He's just in denial. The manhua didn't adapt some important scenes. Like in the end there are extras where he decides to do everything mc wanted to do together with him. He gets a dog and loves him dearly even bringing him to his office. Travels the world and goes to all the places mc wanted to go and eventually ends up unknowingly in the same River mc's ashes were scattered. He says that he will never forgive himself and is trying to make up for everything and wishes he was there with him but you see it just happens that he and his ex(his ashes) were both traveling places together but separately. There is also a scene where he is sitting in a train and going through the sketches of him mc drew and an old couple asks him if he was his lover and he said yes and that he'll love him eternally now...so bittersweet sigh
