this dog is my dream. my calling.
I always tell people that i want to be reborn as a rich person's cat. A PEDIGREED CAT. NO ONE CARES IF YOU'RE FAT OR MEAN OR ANYTHING. JUST BE A CUTE FLOOF AND YOU'RE GOOD TO GO.
no need to work. no need to pay taxes. no need to cook. man the life of a rich person's pet

Hold on a minute. The lastest chapter rubbed me in the wrong way a little.
the MC is blaming herself for being the cause (i guess) of her breakup with the previous boyfriend - but I don't see it that way at all. Plus that friend was like "in your case you were too clingy and insecure" like excuse me you're not her you've only seen a very small fragment of her life don't say such bullshit.
is moving to the city that your boyfriend lives in such a 'clingy' thing to do? they were doing long distance relationship so wouldn't they want to be in close proximity? plus it's not as if the MC had no job and just decided to move there and leech off the boyfriend like the hell?
and what in the world - EVERYONE gets insecure in a relationship no matter what, so how can she even think that that's the cause of the breakup
honestly this whole thingy just made me go nani??? dafuq????

Ok but Sukeyo Fuchi? Idk how she ended up being bounded in chains, but at that point I do feel sorry for her. Yes she's a naive little girl who can't do much (from what we've seen but also that she really hasn't had much opportunity to grow you know?).
I'm guessing the real Sukeyo at one point wanted to take charge of her own life and that's not in the plans of Izana and Atae, so they bounded her. Plus, having to get pregnant too? That must've been a very weird and odd situation.
End of the day I'm still rooting for Kasane, but man do I still feel bad for the naive Sukeyo Fuchi.
Idk about you but I got weirded by out the mum who kissed him good night "good night my angel" idk it's just geh, usually people stop doing that after like 10 or 11 years old
I thought that too lol
that scene was so fuckin creepy
i saw your comment before i read the manga and i was thinking maybe it's just motherly love but now i agree that was creepy as hell lol
I think she partially still thinks him a small child thus the curfew and judgement on his nail color. She also may be religious with the "Devils nail color" comment so he is probably trying to put on a good son show to her but hiding his true self all the while. I first thought it was creepy because she's treating a young man like he's still a kid which is normal for some older people with their kids, but idk, it still weirded me out all the same
I don't think it's particularly creepy in context... like yeah the scene was hella creepy but it seemed to have been dramatized that way, I just think she's a mum doting on her grown-up child lololol but i suppose if it's like a obsessive nightly ritual or something then THAT seems problematic
