Taku « go out with me, I don’t care about your feeling it’s okay if you don’t love me » Last chapter, heasoo apologize 1000times, And taku he is the one who make the first step for the break up... maybe the author want Taku to finally make the right decision for him ?
i think it was very much taku's personality. he's never genuinely cared for someone so this was a first for him. but first's are also very scary which makes one hesitate. although taku began to have feelings for haesoo it was unfamiliar and uncomfortable (cause he wasn't used to it). so he broke it off first because he didn't want to feel uneasy anymore. although i think he'll be having drawbacks because that's what happens when you find something you like for the first time. you'll regret letting it go, but you'll soon learn to accept it although it'll be a rough process

I guess I’m in the minority and I don’t know if author intends it, but I still don’t see Taku being in love here. Is it possible that he’s moved by Haesoo after playing house for awhile, and he confuses that with”love”, maybe. Both his actions and internal monologues still suggest that he wants to replace Joowon in Haesoo’s heart, to have their love, which isn’t really the same. He’s just recognized that he can’t do that, will never be able to do that, and the play he’s been in has to end. He’s still competitive and calculating, seeing him as candy and capturing a glimpse of emotion in a photo. Still living vicariously through a lens because he doesn’t instantly have that bond. And of course it’s only been a month vs 10+ years. Yaoi logic would have us believe it’s possible for someone to fall madly and deeply right away, but I don’t see it. Contrast Taku telling his friend that he can’t wait (for Haesoo) forever vs Joowon’s admission that he will always and unconditionally be there for Haesoo; shallow pool vs deep lake of love and loyalty.
