this is the most wholesome, most adorable, most funny and silly story i’ve read in a MINUTE. no toxicity, no red flags, just two guys wanting to grow cherry tomatoes and strawberries on a nice plot of land with their dog.
Yeah, to say it’s a monster story, the ML really is wholesome. That’s a rarity in these kind of stories.
i might be delusional and hoping for too much, but honestly, i hope dan helps him with these next matches and jaekyung realizes how good dan is to him but dan still says no and leaves him after the debt is cleared. i hope the ending to this story is that dan leaves his abuser and can live happily without the shackle of debt OR jaekyung. i understand jaekyung was just on fight or flight mode his whole life but that genuinely gives no excuse to treat dan so horribly and even HE knows that. i hope that jaekyung lets him walk away, takes full responsibility, and becomes a better person for the next person to come into his life as a romantic interest. i want our happy ending to be dan healing and moving on & jaekyung to finally retire without being so on guard all the time, just not together.

And if they do end up together (which quite frankly we know they will, this isn’t a realistic story) I hope it’s like 10 years+ in the future.
yeah, like i want it to be a meet cute and jaekyung is genuinely just a better person and dan has more of a back bone or SOMETHING.
