yeah, i have mixed feelings about this. I knew there was something wrong with Theodore's cole while MC's mother not telling her about the curse as a form of a test to see if MC will be able to think for herself instead of relying on her mind-reading magic is giving me mixed feelings. Like it does teaches MC as a way to not be too dependent but on the other hand, MC looks like she's on the route of not getting married to Theodore so that's going to be the typical drama doozy. Kinda bit of a stressful toxicity from the queen. I can't imagine if MC won't be able to pull through and actually calls off the engagement with Theodore (but if it does, I'm guessing that he'll also have a slight harbor of hate towards the Queen for not telling MC about the curse).
