If this is not for you, cool, that's absolutely fine, but Mingwa is most definitely a talented writer, even if there are a few inconsistencies and even if it's extremely fucked up. HOWEVER, I think it's important for the portrayal of such sensitive topics to address the impact and trauma associated with them. imo the author seems to struggle with creating a compelling narrative because of her preoccupation with rape. (yeah u could argue its just porn) its perfectly fine if some people enjoy her stories, as everyone has different preferences.
