The plot could’ve had SO MUCH potential and the author decided to just.. do THAT. Shit short story that could’ve been better with character development and more chapters
Honestly this is such an exhausting read… like whenever I think the seme is gonna have something that can give him some type of redemption the author just goes “nope, he really is an asshole, there’s no justification for his acts! uwu” and I’m like?????? WHAT DO YOU MEAN T-T PLEASE I JUST WANT TO LIKE THIS STORY BUT I CANT CAUSE HE SUCKS
This is the first actual 3P that I’ve read in which everyone involved looks equally pleased, such a refreshing experience and I wish more authors knew how to do it like this more
I will never be able to get over that fact this will never end, I loved the art style and the comparison doesn’t even look identical
Now im confused is it really a brother relationship or a “hyung” thing???
Ch42: so I guess the prince didn’t actually change and the duke only needs mc to neutralize his powers.. Cedric for the win
He’s not even trying to hide his gaslighting in the slightest
I’m scared to start reading this and at the end one of them dies
I absolutely love this but I can’t help but feel sad.. as someone who is really close with my siblings I can’t imagine never being able to see them again or not have any way to communicate with them
I don’t get it, weren’t they distant cousins or something? Why is he asking MC to call him brother?? I’m guessing it’s a “hyung” thing when they show how close they are that was translated badly (this is why I always prefer when they keep in manwhas “oppa” “hyung” “noona” “ahjussi” rather than literally translating it)
This could be a touchy/controversial topic but I like how a Japanese author in here talks about the negative side of Imperial Japan during WW2 and not one-sidedly paint the American army as the sole bad guys. Let's establish something here first, the atomic bombings were war crimes. That goes without saying. But often times people paint this event as black and white. In reality, it's all pretty gray.
Yes, again, the bombings were terrible but so was what the Imperial Japanese Army was doing that partially contributed to the event leading to the bombings. I mean honestly, what Imperial Japan did during WW2 almost makes the Nazis pale in comparison. (If you're curious, just look up Unit 731 or the Rape of Nanking, to name a few).
Sorry but this really isn’t it. It really shows who is the author’s favorite ML.
My man has been living for 60 years without knowing about sex
Also it makes me sad to think that he’d have approximately 100 years to live even after MC dies
Honestly I think we’re missing a whole lot of information about the world building and also the characters. I get it, they’re cute together but them as characters are inconsistent. For example when did MC fall in love with ML? All we got to see up to that point was them going to the cinema and never even saw them truly talking to each other (except on later on chapters when they had sex). Also about MC opening up to ML, to me it was out of character, like he had no reason to trust ML and knew he was a vampire. (At ch16 he makes it seem like he doesn’t kill humans so if he didn’t know he was a vampire he wouldn’t have accepted to kill ML). But now that I think about it, y’see.. MC might actually not know he’s a vampire and if that is the case then it just shows how this manwha doesn’t really know how to write a consistent timeline. We have to keep on guessing things that should’ve already been explained. Like I’m guessing he has been an hunter for years now and by the amount of experience he has then he should’ve known better than to have sex with the person he’s supposed to kill and tell him about your past, no? Another example would be MC’s special ability, does he know he has it? Cause he definitely knows hair changing colors is not normal, that’s basic logic and there’s also the fact he remembers what the killer of his family said, so why is it that his power was never introduced to us?
I know they are cute together now but as someone who binge read this it really shows just how rushed their relationship was and how sudden their change in personalities was too. They might’ve built a stronger bond “off cameras” but what’s the point if we as readers don’t see it?
Don’t get me wrong i like the potential this has but I know it could’ve been a lot better, it’s a shame really. I love the ideia they had for this universe and if only it was introduced better… :/ I hope that as it slowly gets updated I will forget the bits of mistakes in writing.
I don’t know if this is an adaptation from a novel but if it is then it explains a lot
Honestly I still think they got no chemistry, sure the smut scenes are good but other than that they can’t hold a single conversation without it being awkward
