I’m confused, what do you mean???

tldr; watch a video on youtube, gay youtuber exposed for going after straight men 99.9% of the time in a gross manner and feels like the victim when they don’t respond back the way he wants them to

james charles, openly gay makeup youtuber (used to have 16mil subs), was recently “cancelled” by nearly the entire internet after he got officially exposed by popular beauty youtuber Tati. Some people have talked about James as a “sexual predator” but those ppl were not very famous, like former classmates of james, so ppl just thought it as a rumor. Tati however confirmed it, she basically told the internet that he really
does like to go after straight guys and gets annoyed when they reciprocate his feelings. there’s a lot more to this story and lots of “tea” but basically think of the stereotype of gay guys going after any man regardless of their feelings or sexual orientation being true like the way byul’s little bro keeps on throwing himself onto byul blah blah blah honestly i don’t rly get why ppl r talking abt james charles but you can look up a video about all the drama on youtube.

also I probably generalized the whole situation more than I need too and someone else could probably explain it better and with less words - -;;

I have long since given up on Asians fully understanding sexuality. I have never read a manhwa with a gay couple even as supporting characters, gay characters are just comic relief in kdramas, China banned dramas with the slightest hint at characters being gay... even in Japan which seemingly has diverse mangas with yaoi being very popular so you'd think it's becoming more normal there, still, they look down on gays in real life and it can affect your professional life if your gay there...

Manhwas in particular always have homophobic vibes but what can be done about that?
