Honestly I think the top is making suspicious facial expressions because he's just holding himself back a lot and he finds it laughable and kind of bitter? that mc is not doing this with him out of love. It could also be that this is something he's always wanted so he's kind of not in the right state of mind. Hopefully it's not because he has anything evil planned but from what I've seen I don't think he's that type of guy!
