She’s kinda annoying ( don’t attack me for it ) sry it’s jus my opinion I’ll keep reading to see if it gets better

Ikr i thought this exact same thought process. The ml+mc's first interaction has a sour impression. I've bumped into ppl who didn't apologize before and I've never been so angry to pester them if we met again. I guess it's because she's a spoiled rich girl. But as it goes on she's funny and cunning, and i love how she deals with the second madam and sister.

Exactlyyy
Finally someone who gets how annoying it is when the story says there’s a strong female lead but the female lead ends up getting protected by the male lead
Nope. Most people 'get' that. It's very few people who finally grasp the *actual* facts. Most people see anyone but perfectly overpowered FLs as weak. Of course they don't apply that to men because to most people men can be flawed but not weak. This is why I find Su Luxia hella cliched and boring af as a character. The only reason I read CMMD is because of the face slapping but she isn't the only one who can deal out such blows. Also most people think that character development is 'd***'. I on the other hand enjoy actual storytelling. Plus most of them love to ignore tiny little details like... oh... how the MC was reincarnated into a weaker body (and, in this case, had their dragon root destroyed) and how, *despite that*, she has been growing by leaps and bounds far more quickly than any other cultivator before her, in order to belabor the idea that women can only be strong if they are more powerful than anyone else right off the bat. That isn't 'girl power'. That's still just relying on sexist af stereotypes. Stbyb.
