Fr. Might be a hot take, but I didn't like that one either, I think that mother-son duo couldve lived a fulfilling life even without romantic partners. But I guess the way the manhwa was structured, esp for the mom's, it's inevitable. Sorry i can't disclose the details of the moments bc it contains a major spoilers from chapter 700+ but the thing is hoyeol might actually abandon the world for granfell hahha, oh and there's that time too around chapter 600 where he planned to lock up grandfell in his mind realm to prevent him from leaving lol. Hoyeol on chapter 780+ also chained grandfell wrist to himself hahaha and i also saw a spoiler it says after they separate hoyeol is urging grandfell to enter him again lol but granfell refused hahahahhaha (i meant the soul not 'that') but idk if it's true tho after all i didn't read it myself

Because i've read from a reviewer how granfell goes ballistic if someone messes with hoyeol (we saw a glimpse of this im the previous chapters of the manhwa iirc) or if he's seperated from him but hoyeol just treats it as tantrums from granfell.

As for grandfell being yandere, it was around chapter 360+ from what I remember, he literally went on a rampage and decided to destroy a literal world, he also almost crushed nam taemin to bits and i was like "dude chill your wife's just unconscious rn" lol, and that time too around ch 500+ grandfell rampage again after hoyeol thought his eldest sis got cought up in the 9th demon king curse on jeju, grandfell rampages and wounded 2 senior mages (it's vangrith & bensch from what I remember) and also almost wounded jessie bc he finds her annoying ahahaha!!. Oh right there's also time when the desperate 3rd wheel (9th demon king) tried to kill hoyeol and granfell was so angry he almost went on a rampage lol but since hoyeol was there and calmed him down he decided to hold back and listen to hoyeol instead hahahaa (around ch 500). Oh and there's also that time when facing against the green coward (8th demon king), he was so angry bc that coward tried to mess with hoyeol mental state he almost rampage again lol (man always rampage when something happens to hoyeol)

Angry grandfell when the 9th tried to kill hoyeol:
“Shut up.”
“This moment, I.”
“I’m extremely suppressing the urge to tear you to pieces.”

Hoyeol answer if he can't reunite with granfell:
