oh boy, seems like we're being hit with angst again today. I understand suha's apprehension, especially after the toxic relationships he's gone through. I hope jiwoon respects that and starts taking things slow, bc they didn't really start their relationship on the best footing, by immediately being physically intimate. I think what suha needs rn, is to see that he's loved for who is as a whole, not just for his body. it's clear he doesn't really cherish himself and I hope that jiwoon could be the support he needs.
also, mfing dohyeok is so annoying, I alrdy hate him so much and istfg if the author tries to redeem his character in the future, it's gon' take a helluva lot of character development for me to ever remotely like the guy.
I've read so many omegaverse stories, to the point in which I usually stray away from them since they tend to be repetitive and cliche. BUT, I absolutely adore this story and this is my second time rereading it. it doesn't stray too far from some of the cliches and classic tropes we see in omegaverse stories but the author's execution of these cliches/tropes was so good!! the simplicity of it is what really makes this story and allows us to focus on the character'a relationships. I really like how the author explores the concept of destiny. we start with the classic soulmate, omega x alpha trope with the main couple. which was all good n' wholesome. but this definition of "destiny" and concept of "soulmates" that we're used to seeing, is challenged by the second couple later, especially as hajime is introduced as kudo's "soulmate". I think that aspect really made the story interesting. not to mention the characters in themselves were all intriguing, especially miyauchi who I found to be the most complex. and, it was pleasant to see how their relationships all grew. the ending was also wholesome!! :'))
shin was absolutely gorgeous this chapter!! also ngl I find it so fking hot when he pulls out his big brain intellectual analysis. I just love how calm and collected he's able to be despite being in dangerous situations, it's just so refreshing and interesting to see someone as level-headed as shin. I find it so ironic that the redhead seems to think he understands shin's character so well and that he's doing him justice by treating him like a damsel in distress. when in reality, shin's been taking advantage of his naivety this whole time and acting of his own volition
ugh, I understand where the redhead is coming from but he needs to stop it w his saviour complex. he's literally just projecting his own narrative onto shin, assuming that he's unhappy under wolfgang & assuming wolfgang's malicious bc of his father. he literally didn't even bother to get to know wolfgang and yet he thinks he knows his character?? I've said this once and I'll say it again but it really fking frustrates me to see people target wolfgang under the pretence that he is like his father. I feel like with the old king dead, there are clearly still people who have nowhere to aim their hatred at, so they aim it at the new king. yet, what truly angers me is that, if people like the redhead really wanted to serve justice. is the way to go really by dethroning a king and taking over a kingdom?? also, I hate how nobody even rly tries to understand wolfgang. he's such a good-natured and genuine character but his reputation has been dragged through the mud bc of his asshole nonce of a father. at the same time tho, did everyone just forget all the good deeds wolfgang did on his path to the throne?? like how is everyone gonna disregard all of his accomplishments and write him off to be like his father. ugh!! (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
hopefully after they settle out this current matter, I think we'll be getting more on wolfgang and shin's relationship. especially, since shin had the revelation on how much he loves wolfgang. I'm guessing the author wanted to address the discontent and complications that came with wolfgang achieving the throne before they focused on the relationship between wolfgang and shin.
Meh i think its cuz when youve been under the reign of so many bad kings it can make you uneasy of another one even if they seem to be better. And with the Red head i think he just thinks hes doing good assuming that Wolfgang is just like the old king, which you couldnt blame him for wanting to get shin out a situation like that lol. So i think he means good but if just misinformed
yeah I understand that, I don't think redhead harbours any ill will and clearly probably has good intentions. but ig it just annoys me in general, to see wolfgang constantly associated with his father in spite of all the good he's done. I just wished more people viewed him for who he is, without bias.
I also want to clarify that despite my frustration, I don't hate the redhead lol. I think his naivety has caused him to be easily swayed by others, as seen with how shin was able to influence him so easily. I also get the implication that his father is also taking advantage of his naivety and sense of justice, so that they can take over wolfgang's kingdom. not for "justice" but simply as a means of more power. which makes his character pitiable. he even kinda reminds me of wolfgang in some ways, with how they both seek justice.
god, reading this is giving me Metamorphosis ptsd. it really sickens me to see the mc get taken advantage of, especially seeing that in spite of how toxic his sexual relationships were, the simple fact that he was being acknowledged by someone made him happy. I'm honestly hoping Yuu's a good character and that he doesn't also take advantage of Kentarou's naivety bc poor Kentarou doesn't need anymore toxic people in his life. still, pretty susp that he oh so happened to stumble upon him giving that old man a bj and was there at the hotel. feel like he's stalking our boi.

stg dojin be looking prettier recently. oof, he really going for it ლ(´ڡ`ლ)
i was just thinking that! when he turned and said “i got to meet you” he looked so hot
