I like smut as much as the next person, but goddamn can we get back to the story? We got the backstory of how they met and why their relationship is what it is, what more do we need? Iām forgetting why the flashback even happened at this point.
Woah, I was super confused at first but I love a good fantasy theme but get sick of all the isekai, this one isnāt so bad though. I wanna be sure though that Iām understanding it right. The grand Duke is that other student the mc lived with for whatever reason in hs? Like i got that vibe and then i didnāt as if heās just technically an npc. I donāt understand their relationship at all if itās the former.

Ah the sex, all the sex. It still weirds me out about the age gap, but like Iām fine with it, but then Iām not at the same time, but itās not bad enough to make me stop reading. Seeing the actual ages now for that swap arc makes it even more weird, but then Iām being contradictory because Iāve read plenty of other stories with an age gap, one just as big as this if not more, and found it weird still, but enjoyed the story much more than this. Rn there is no story, just sex and now tropes? Definitely not dedicated to the story, but itās not awful.
Wooow, I only read this because I saw the second one first. I donāt think it was toxic like in the way most obvious toxic BLs are, but damn do they need some therapy. My guy, it looks like heās a predator at this point cause now his new boyfriend is even younger than his first. Like I figure that wasnāt supposed to be the intention, but goddam, thatās all I see. And wtf?! Who fakes their own death to get away from their ex unless it is a horrible and dangerous relationship. In retrospect, everything was fine with them (except for the morals of a teacher) but the kidās family fucked it up and went that drastic to say he died?! Thatās traumatizing! So many emotions going on. And then bro just accepts to use him as a look-alike stand-in! That can bring on so many insecurities along the way. Iām not a fan of age gaps, but Iāll read themā¦but knowing he was a teacher is weird, but at least heās not currently his teacher.
At one point I was just thinking everyone sucks. Teacher guy needs to not get in a relationship with any students (donāt even wanna know how that went down) and better himself for himself and go to therapy. The main guy needs to give himself more credit for his talent, Iām assuming heās a really good artist, and he needs to prioritize himself and go to therapy. And Mr. Iām Not Actually Dead needs to apologize properly for what happened (since it was his family that caused the actual chaos) and move on from the relationship and go to tell his therapist the reason why he told his ex he was dead.
Still, I found the story good but that probably because itās definitely not a favorite. I held no over affectionate love or protectiveness for any character.
This whole story is so so freakin weird. I feel like I get the plot but then Iām wondering why. The artiest is also so innocent to the point itās annoying but also like, bruh, youāre a grown ass man and having sex with this guy who has the brain of a frog at this point. Iāve read so much that I guess Iāll read the updates, but I am just not feeling this story as a whole.

I lowkey hope that the ex-bf is gonna be in that room for an amazing confrontation, but I know thatās impossible. The professor didnāt even care about Joheeās (is that his name, I read it and then forget immediately) initial relationship to begin with, so it doesnāt make sense for the beta bf to be in the room for a surprise confrontation. I just want that to happen lol
I feel like itās getting better solely because of his beating and breakup, but now the professor is letting him back in, and he is on the cover as a mcās ālove interestā. What makes this story foul for people is that they canāt relate to the protagonist (if you can call him that at this point) in any way beyond him being human and perhaps a college student. We see what a jerk he can be, how he treats his boyfriend who he supposedly loved so much in an AlphaxBeta relationship and how FAST it went downhill for him even after recovering from an āinvoluntaryā reaction from an omega in heat. If he did get in a romantic relationship with the professor it wouldnāt be very palatable for readers since we know how his previous one ended.

I think this is the first time a hiatus chapter ACTUALLY made me cry.
You know what would be cool, if this whole story was like the subplot of the main story. Like you know how when a typical MC has a cheating Ex we only ever hear about it or get a small flashback of it or maybe itās one scene that starts with it. What if like this is the story of that. Of a cheater and how his boyfriend dumped him for someone who cares for him wholeheartedly and not just to keep himself from getting caught. Like itās a double standard but I wouldnāt give a fuck if that beta went with mister tall, dark and handsome over there. I wouldnāt blink twice. āGood for youā Iād say.
Omgg that was so cute ā( Tļ¹T )ā i know the ending seems abrupt but the focal point wasnāt much in their relationship as a couple than what it was as friends and character development. It would be great to have side stories of their relationship or a second story of it, but I really like the plot and how it went through. Trauma like that isnāt easy to accept or go through, and the focus on it through both parties was (sadly) great
