One thing I don’t understand is having so many plots literally center around the family of the MC being abusive and neglectful. You mean to tell me that you are the head of the household, held in high regards by the imperial family, and forcefully took her in after her mother passed only to act like you have no say in the matter. If the only thing you do for your child is provide bs consolation every time they suffer abuse and neglect then you need a shorter lifespan.

There is no excuse for it. It allowed all of that to happen and then the only time he spoke up was to send her to the imperial family knowing that was one of the worst moves. If you never wanted the responsibility of an illegitimate child then you should have done it or at least not approached her. The bare minimum is literally just providing the essentials and treating her as a human then letting her be independent once she becomes an adult. How are the parents always so awful? It doesn’t make for a better plot. It just shows how often people try to navigate the world with not guidance beyond the trauma they received. #－.－)

But the thing is, he goes out of his way to bother her and try to convince her that she’s lost it. Meanwhile, she’s been telling him in every way possible to shove it up his arse. Living well and moving on as revenge? What part of that soothes her finding out YEARS were spent with someone manipulating every aspect of her life. He manipulated a “therapist” and “doctor” for alleged treatment.

He magically disappears and all of a sudden she regained her eyesight which we learned was because the eyedrops used for “treatment” were actually causing the temporary blindness. MIND YOU, she hates the he’ll out of him for what he did but more than anything she just wants her husband back #－.－)

It’s always entertaining to see stories depict just how screwed you can get by attempting something like a reverse harem without thinking it through first. System really said she’s gonna take responsibility until the very END (￣∇￣")

In these types of manga, the men literally swarm after the other woman while already being in a committed relationship just to blame it on the FL. But what’s really baffling is how they it’s never shown how the other guys responded when a character like the sister drops them because she targets the FL’s new partner. Victim blaming is strong in these stories sigh. But imma stick around and see how good the story line gets over time.

I hope our ML kicks that knight so hard he’s out in a spin cycle for the way he’s acting or even better the FL does it. You want people to help you search but then have the most disrespectful things to say even before asking. “It’s a citizens duty to assist and be honest” yeah well it’s a noble’s duty to take care of their territory and a knight’s duty to protect the citizens. I was wondering why there was a dispute regarding Kiel’s behavior with Aisha since childhood. I could have sworn the translation said Aisha was older but then the recent chapters say the opposite. Even if you have the mental capacity to pick yourself up after getting out of there, that betrayal would kill your will to live so quick.
