This makes my brain feel confused. She wasn’t living the greatest life and was mistreated due to being unable to match with anyone. Goes through the traumatic experience of being yanked through a gate and lands in another dimension. Had the Grand duke not come to find her, she would have quite possibly already died from the environment or met a worse fate of someone else even worse coming across her.

She herself doesn’t do too well with actually slowing down and listening to the circumstances she was now in. Though that would be difficult with adrenaline pumping and having a flight response. Then you have the duke who didn’t have much hope for being able to have a future all of a sudden receiving hope but it won’t last long at all. It’s a horrible situation for both sides and both sides are anxious for their own survival.

Does that make it ok for him to try to detain her in the castle and not share any information with her? Absolutely not. But she also is kind of lucky to have met someone who is even willing to share any information to begin with. She also a freedom to move around just not leave the castle. She could have been picked up by someone who literally kept her imprisoned with a chains and strip her freedom in all ways.

Just makes me think about how if my reality became like this, I don’t think I would be able to have any chance at survival if I don’t try to adapt to what’s around me before losing it about being sent home. Like for instance, asking the duke how everyone has been able to survive and why he seemed so attached with me not leaving. Or asking if we could have some sort of exchange rather than a one sided benefit deal. ╥﹏╥

These comments surprised me to say the least. I really enjoyed how this story turned out. It seems the main issue is the going non contact for 8 years. But think about it, they both transitioned into different colleges and then went on to navigate joining the workforce. So it’s not like they just sat on their hands the entire time. Not to mention, anxiety can cause people to be highly irrational when it comes to navigating emotions.

What starts out as just being a little worried at what kind of changes a single action could cause can lead to a full blown anxiety attack with becoming overwhelmed and cutting contact thinking it is the best thing to do. Emotions have never been able to be understood through linear thinking. It’s why we have both logical and emotional thinking.

Either way, I really loved the way this played out. (⌒▽⌒)

This is such a nice break from the amount of stories with toxic storylines. Is he a green flag? No. But the story is so light hearted and comedic and they are growing to be fond of each other ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ

My guy lmao? I started the story then had to immediately back track after seeing the age gap was 12 years with him still in high school. Over here searching for their current ages after having the title “Cradle Robbing”. Nearly had a heart attack (￣∇￣")

Everybody consistently trying to push her back to Raymond now that she has moved on is ridiculous. Everyone had a problem with her affection towards him previously but now that she’s moved on they have become uncomfortable towards the unexpected changed. They want to “put things back the way they should be”. Which is have Agnes continue to suffer with hopes of her remaining “mature” as well. The brother can kick rocks.

It’s wild that the MC has spent all of that time thinking he just got his ass beat when they got drunk but the reality is that they were getting it on. Though it didn’t have the greatest start from the looks of it. But MC constantly missing the quiet part that requires reading between the lines purely because he thinks they are being straightforward about work is such a mood.(￣∇￣") He really took “leave your personal matters at the door” another level of serious while ML thinks he’s having a conversation about something completely different. Just kinda shows how beating around the bush and being indirect can cause massive miscommunications and misunderstandings.

Who the hell finds out that their siblings were so safe and cared for that they didn’t want to return home and immediately decides to be an ass to the person who cared for them???? You’re siblings are finally opening up and finding some comfort and you’re thought process is to temporarily use her and the dispose of her? at that point you don’t actually care about the well being of the kids and need to get knocked upside the head one good time. Ugh he’s getting on my nerves so far

Anyone else suspicious about the full details of MC’s madness? I just feel like what MC was informed of might be different from what is actually going on due to the way the one asshole is acting towards him. Like what if we get 40 chapters in and it’s revealed that he came up with that reason so he could get MC to take medication to mess with his memory and make it easier to control him? (￣∇￣")

It just doesn’t feel right that he apparently has an insect in his brain but it’s not actively killing him nor are they providing a medication that would kill the insect but instead a medication that somehow prevents him from turning mad????

They are literally in a trial for him suing her and her father with false claims. Yet he’s over here pissed that she provided evidence that he blatantly committed multiple crimes. But more than that, he’s specifically mad that she had no intention to forgive him.

…….sir you filed a LAWSUIT against her after ruining her life and attempting to continue manipulating her. Not a single part of that deserves forgiveness. Get his ass, his father's ass and assets, and his fiancé’s ass to while you’re at it. That girl lost her mind just as bad (╬￣皿￣)凸

That one knight needs to be knocked out. I understand wanting to take up for your commander. But the hostility he showed felt more like him making use of the commander's family situation to excuse him being disrespectful towards MC. In a perfect world, the MC and eldest brother will get along and after he finds out about the knight he will give him a good knock out #－.－)

Why do mangas similar to this one always stop at chapter 20 something??? Far enough to get you interested but short enough to irk your nerves that it doesn’t receive updates （/TДT)/

He went out of his way to completely heal my guy and remove all presence of a mana stone just so he could get his lick back. Getting an upper cut followed by waking up to see your prized possession gone and being told you’re going to jail is a different type of hurt.

I understand that she is this beautifully sweet and kind person. I really do. But F*CK, her forgiving the elves and wanting to continue being family irks my nerves. That’s not simple forgiveness. It’s practically going “yeah, I was abused and treated without an ounce of care. But that’s ok because we’re family”. I hate when it feels like the abusers are provided a way out to relieve their guilt (if they even had any). We had what? Maybe 4 chapters of them getting some form of consequences for their actions. TAKE RESPONSIBILITY AND RECEIVE THE CONSEQUENCES OF YOU ACTIONS FFS!!!! ヽ(`Д´)ﾉ

When she was explaining what a lion and sheep is, I was over here nodding my head along going “ok I see the difference. One has round ears and a tail that has the little Christmas lightbulb looking while the other has curly horns and a short poofy tail”. Then I saw the author’s note and lost it because they were confused about the difference too. This lets me know that I couldn’t draw for sh*t growing up. (￣∇￣")

This might sound bad, but if the ML is going to flip his shit then I want it to be expressed verbally towards FL. He’s enduring and pushing but not getting anywhere with it. I was thinking about it and I don’t think the FL ever actually directly explained her reasoning behind spending less time together. She acknowledges that she is his entire world but doesn’t say anything and just lets things fester until something happens. It’s not her responsibility to get him straight, but it’s gross that she will take advantage of his fixation on her whenever she wants.

It feels like she doesn’t say anything because she enjoys the attention when she’s in the mood for it but then completely disregards him any other time. FL has options with what she can do moving forward, ML doesn’t really have options until he has a stable income to leave. So he’s practically trapped with the person who is actively making his condition worse. Also, everyone is aware of that guy stepping way past the line and causing problems but no one from the actual studio has taken measures for the models’ safety????? I’m about to flip out if the next chapter comes in and everyone tries to go off on him. I have a bad feeling FL will be one of the ones at the front of the line to talk down on him for having the reaction he did. (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
