It's been like 4 years in universe and he's best friends with Usagi and is Misaki's brother. It's weird that it's taking this long considering how close he is to both of them. And if he were more judgemental, I'd understand, but Takahiro seems like he's really sweet and wouldn't judge too hard. Sure, he's pushing Misaki to move out, but he's only trying to make sure he can live independently. No malice in it.
Seriously, Harukas side story was sad. I would've like it better if he ended up with the younger brother but at the same time, it was such a sad story with so much angst because of the situation that I thought it kinda fit. I mean, cheated on his wife sucked but sometimes people fall in love with other people and they can't help it. But it was still fucked. :'))
