I’m not going to be rude because clearly you don’t know what these people have done. They were previously called out by the author a few months ago. Instead of apologizing and removing the uploads, they sent people in droves to spam her and flooded her comments with death threats. They continued to harass people criticizing them and eventually gave a half assed apology. Fast forward, they are STILL illegally uploading in real time after they told Byeonduck they would cease uploads. They’ve now set up a gofundme with the premise that they have the authors permission to upload her work. That is entirely fucking false as Byeonduck was CRYSTAL CLEAR about how she felt about these people. They are trying to pocket 5K from people and have $500 so far. Do not defend them. They are vile, childish, selfish people.

The author had apparently called them out a while ago, and they are still continuing to upload waaaay earlier than is remotely okay. Plus the fact they took donations is kinda off-putting for me. They’ve been uploading here for a while and while the scan-group is new, the uploader is not. But,, at the end of the day this is an illegal site that is stealing profits from the author no matter what, even if it’s posted 3 days after the official upload. Plus a lot of us in the comments are reading it here, so really we are no better

It’s ok! I understand that you want to see the good in people. But they’ve commented here and have refused to take any accountability for what they’ve said and done. It just really makes it obvious they aren’t sorry and I don’t want anyone to falsely support them under the pretense they are good people. They are simply not.

So it's not wrong when people steal shit from lezhin, Tapas, toomics, comics . . . . But one person decided to upload a few chapters from webtoon and people start hating. Like wtf your reading stolen shit, instead of wasting my time why don't you go support the author.

The difference is that lehzin, tapas, and toomics, require money to support the author so while a lot of us would like to, some people just can’t. On the other hand, Webtoon does not require any money so reading it here instead of on webtoon is literally just hurting the author for no reason.

Oh stfu too. It's so easy to earn ink on Tapas by watch 20 videos, playing games etc . ., For lezhin you can get free bonus, play games. . . There's so many ways to earn to support your favorite artists. You acting like other authors don't get hurts about their fucking hard working stories being put on here. Same difference. You should go and twitter and see how many artists complaining about their stories being illegal translate and uploaded. That's why Pian Pian isn't on here anymore.

I’m not acting like other authors don’t get hurt. I never said anything like that. All I said was that it’s harder to support them. I’m not sure about tapas (because I don’t use it) but lehzin only added the free coins feature recently. For a long time it was strictly just pay to get coins. Also a lot of the ways you can get coins for free still need your credit card to do so. The ones that are entirely free either don’t give you a lot of coins either or take a month of constant playing to finish so when each chapter cost 3 coins how do you expect people to read multiple stories in lehzin? Especially when the stories aren’t finished yet and you don’t know weather you’re going to like them or not. I do use my free coins on lehzin but I only use them in stories I’ve already read. I’ve also only have been able to completely pay for 1 story using free coins despite the amount of grinding I did each day. That story had 90+ chapters (not including the side stories) and not everyone is as patient as me. However there is literally no point in reading webtoon stories on this site. On webtoon you don’t need to spend hours getting a large amount of coins. You can just read it. For free. There is no point in anyone coming here to read webtoon stories.

But at the end of the day that doesn't give the right to put their stories on here. All Artist are the same. They need the money. I just don't see way it's a big deal to put castle swimmer on here. I don't see why people attacking the uploader.

how am i a hypocrite? i never read webtoons on here... and for lezhin and others, some of us are broke and don’t have a lot of time to gain ink but still want to enjoy comics. this is stealing no matter where you take it from, i’m not advocating for those who upload from lezhin but i’m just not berating them either since there’s a valid reason. webtoon is 100% free and there’s no reason to read it here where the author doesn’t get any credit versus on webtoon where the author gets paid for reads and likes

I think she's an interesting character. She's flawed in a relatable way. Like, I GET wanting the person who hurt you to to be unhappy. It might be wrong, but it's human. I understand the feeling of injustice when someone can hurt you without consequences.
