I can't with this story. It’s full of people so willing to sacrifice themselves for others, and as a soft-hearted person, it’s honestly too much. I’ve been crying nonstop—like, is there even a chapter I didn’t cry in? Probably not.
But the last volume… broke me. While reading, I only had one wish: please, don’t make Taichi cry. He’s so precious to me. I just wanted to protect him from everything. But when Kouhei started seeing him as this child quietly longing for parental love, I just lost it.
And then there’s the whole issue with Sudo, too. Please, just don’t hurt Taichi anymore. My boy has already suffered more than enough.
