I noticed that art to me is as important maybe even more important then the story , like I can read manga that have beautiful art even if the story is shit but I can't get into manga with bad art , I can't get past the first chapter it very painful to look at this kind art not to my style

if I only wanted to read good stories their lot of novels and fanfics to read but I prefer manga over novels cuz I want to enjoy beautiful amazing art , I am not really that interesting in stories unless they combined with amazing art that leave long lasting impression to me like Tokyo ghoul manga still give chills cuz of how amazing art and story combined , it like come to life through art .

Mob Psycho 100 is a prime example of a great story hidden under its average art style. ONE-sensei might not be an absolute genius at drawing but they make good stories regardless of people being turned off by the art style. OPM and MP100 got so popular, they even got their own animeā MP100 in particular preserved the authorās art style...with its own stylish flair! c: Though I can understand if you read manga for its art. Itās fine if you donāt like Asada-senseiās art. Personally, I find it gorgeous.

You're right about ONE-sensei . Besides, shounen/seinen mangas prioritize more on the plot as their selling point. If you read most shounen/seinen, their art is pretty rough but plot is quality, like snk for example. Romance mangas on the other hand is different, their characters are drawn in bishounen/bishoujo style to attract female readers. Not so much to expect in plot tho.

I kind not agree with that , yeah shounen manga don't focus on character looks as much as yaoi but the art is just as beautiful and out world , and just look at Myheroacademia that I am reading right now , it not about art being rough it about feeling life in art and it almost move something in you while u read it ..
some ma gas I read the art + the story get me to feel emotions cry happy smile heart ach etc .. I get absorbed into the story cuz of both the art and story if art not right I just can't feel anything even if story is good the art is just as important .

((Sry for the second post, I mis-clicked the post button prematurely))
The second part of your comment is your personal opinion. Most shounen/seinen fans don't rely on good art to feel the story. I can feel it fine and even battle with the issues of morality done by the characters - Isayama is just phenomenal. The story writing is superb, impacful.
And probably you misunderstood the meaning of 'rough'. I mean it in terms of imperfection in the lines, the perspective, body posture etc . If you know a bit about drawing then maybe you'd notice that some shounen mangakas draw the body posture incorrectly. Like Ishida Sui (Tokyo Ghoul) seems to have problem drawing body posture in perspective, which is understandable since it's difficult to draw it and time-consuming as you need several references to make it perfect. Since they need to catch the weekly deadline, these mangakas can only leave out the art details and focus on finishing the story instead. If it's unfinished, the manga will not be printed in the next magazine issue. Yes, art is important but the priority is the plot and this statement comes straight from Japanese shounen mangaka and animator. People aren't going to keep buying 20+++ volumes of mangas for the good art but basic plot. Waste of money and bad business. If they want good art they could just buy an illustration book instead.
Mind you, if you like good art to feel the story then it's up to you. No harm in that. But just telling, you're gonna miss out a lot on other good contents that those novels and fanfics lack.
I like this aurther , the story in begining seem to not have much of story but as they go you get into it and became curious , I like this style of story art is ok too so happy
