the art is so good but the premise- ima just ignore that entirely...
everyones saying they're confused, so here's my take on it...seo in's brother (maybe not? i lowkey haven't put the face to a name for him yet oops) beat up youngwoon the day seo in left the country. maybe it was because he didn't like how close they were or he's just a total bitch in general. and seo ins parents might have sent a ton of money to youngwoons dad to cover it up. youngwon then left afterward cuz his dad ate shit and left more debt. seo in is completely in the dark about this. still don't really know how youngwoon got so close to the loan shark or why he helped him, but there's that too.....anyway, the art is really nice and the ml is actually a green flag (TOWARD MC NOT COMPLETELY GREEN) in my opinion despite the circumstances. he genuinely cares about consent and even with the mixed signals and everything he doesn't know, he's obviously trying. 10/10 i cant wait for next season!

i mean he stops when youngwoon asks and keeps giving him chances to leave and explicitly says that if he doesn't leave he'll take it as consent
bare minimum and even then, it's manipulation, he knows how the mc feels about the past and how he has a hard time saying no and uses it to his advantage to make him say " yes " or at least take away any option where he can say "no"
consent isn't always about yes and no, it's also about respecting the other person's boundaries and being a decent human being. if you know the other person cannot be dealing with sex right now, u don't just force it upon them with the " do it or leave " guiltripping shit
um does the fl get better? im on ch 16 and she's really bothering me...i get she didn't have a nice upbringing bc of her parents wed only for her but isn't that the exact reason why she should be trying to at least get to know the ml? like i don't get her logic at all tbh and its rlly bothering me
idk if you continue but for someone who hates the kind of trope you are talking about, keep reading. it gets better. she finally taps into the root of her trauma and after she starts to heal, she will love the ml hard trust
