i think it was def love, he thought back to the past about eve and wanted to save eve because of his past feelings of them together. I dont think he would go that far just out of the kindness of his heart. Another touch was when they first did it, eve said it was his first time and he was happy(?) to do it with adam and adam said in his inner thoughts something along the lines of "it wasnt williams (eve's name before he lost his memory) first time or the eve i knew wasn't like this"

i literally re-read this all the time. For some reason rape, sexual assault and overall “rapey” type of relationships are portrayed often in bl. This is such a good story in terms of going against that. The characters are level headed, incredibly sweet, seth is the greenest flag top ever and theo is so strong mentally. I see a bunch of people use the excuse of “the character cant control themselves” as a way of justifying assault/rape, especially in omegaverse storys. This story literally shows that no matter what “instincts” the character was born with they can be respectful and gentle. I love this story sm <3
