lol you just made me realise that, but ig he never thought they were “that way”, seeing as he considers himself to just being his superior and nothing more, he was quite confused as to why the guy was so fixated on him after his death

to be fair, in this canon its common that espers can become obsessive with their guides, so he probably sees it as just a normal reaction (ie he would have grown attached to any guide, will move on like other espers do ect)
but it is obvious to us that the ML is down bad for him lol

Well, that and also MC mentioned he basically grew up in this kind of environment where he had to guide espers, and is very used to same sex relations when concerning guiding while he interprets ML’s shy reactions to his teasing as him not being used to it and basically just following instinct.

NOT a narrator we can't trust, more like a MC who doesn't know ML fell hard for him lmao. So basically everything ML did for him (like a husband) is something MC thought is normal, since a lot of espers feel obsessive towards their guides, and he thinks that although ML is somewhat obsessive, atleast it's not the bad kind of obsession, rather he felt like a jobless husband. He tbought it normal since they're esper and guide and it's part of an esper's natural instinct.

I think it's funny that he's describing himself as a 'husband' because that's totally how the esper sees him.

Real, like at the beginning chapters they were like a chill colleague that flirts type. But then on later chapters they already kissed and shit. Ig to him, it's just a obsessive disorder. But to ML, he's already in luv and to ML, MC CANNOT be replaced by other guides.
