Trueee I think one of the things that caused him to take the little girls soul was cause while he was in the hole he was staring to lose himself Iike the version where he was conscience. He starts to go back to his animal creature instinct, and since all it knows is to grant wishes it granted the first wish that it heard. It couldn’t get Yoshiki because he was being protected so it went for the girl. It was the only way :(
