Man they played into the "I'm just like other girls" so much that she became "not like other girls". Idk how to explain it but she was special in the beginning because she was insignificant and felt her only personality trait was her friendship with the perfect FL. And that was so comforting and it was nice that she got along so well with everyone because she was inherently nice and kind despite everything and she had her own struggles and extreme insecurities that made her so much more relatable than any other isekai character ever. She never had to ever go out of her way to prove herself worthy of attention or anything, just that she was a real person and she was enough for all these beautiful boys to like her and they were these real and tangible people who weren't shallow.
But the whole new arc they created with the new girl who was also plain like the fl but bitter and different and how everyone around her seemed to envy her and how she never stood up for herself despite having so much more power in terms of her knowledge of the world made it kinda annoying? Like she's one step out the door when it comes to the people who care about her and go to great lengths to be her friend and constantly applies the "inso's law" on them but when it comes to being treated like crap she's just taking the brunt of it and letting people treat her like crap.
Moreover, the later translations haven't really been very comprehensible for me tbvh so I could be wrong in a sense. But honestly, it's so disrespectful to the people who care about her when she deliberately treats them like characters without even trying to do otherwise but anyone who wasn't explicitly written in the story are treated like people. The psychology is understandable but if she's not going to ever give them a chance then she might as well dump them for these new group of friends who are just as supportive and not tied down by "Inso's Law".
