The doctor said that something has caused her bones to deteriorate as if she were very old, which was why she gets tired all the time. So, she didn't die, but it seems she sleeps a lot more often. So is she still "sick" and "old" with rotten bones, or what? Is she still going to die soon, or do these long resting periods cure her?

This started out good. Mutant/evolved sea creatures suddenly coming onto land and running amuck. A good, new, interesting idea. What would it be like if all sea life suddenly moved onto land and began causing a ruckus? That's a cool, interesting story.
But then it started to go downhill with there suddenly being these machines causing infections so life forms will produce gas to fuel them. It's like, what? And then the gas is actually a living entity from another universe invading our world. What? Why?
It's a shame really. They had a good idea, but they ruined it with a stupid, ridiculous plot. They should have stuck with the main characters trying to survive in this sea-to-land creature infested world. That would have been so much better.

Haha, I know what you mean, but Ito-sensei's style revolves around a mixture of supernatural and sci-fi horror, which does not always work like in this case. Personally I enjoyed the idea of infecting the humans since that added a layer of creepiness, but everything else was too over the top ridiculous. =/

So they think humanity is evil and want to wipe them out? Have they looked in the mirror lately? True, humanity isn't perfect, and this government was totally corrupt, but there are so many innocent and kind-hearted people. Yet for the actions of a few, Annie, Bertold, and Reiner want to commit mass genocide. To think I once liked them. I can't believe they did that to Marco. Screw them all. And screw Ymir too. She's just as bad. She doesn't care about anyone or anything but Krysta and is also willing to wipe out all of humanity as long as she can get between Krista's legs. They all need to die, and badly.

I understand your pain, dude. Didn't think Marco would die such a painful death. Poor him. ╥﹏╥

I think it would have been better if Marina stayed in the past, like if Rinosuke's future self was dead rather than just in a medial coma. The whole plot and concept would have been the same, they just would have gone with the multiverse theory instead of the past changes the future theory. It would have worked out better for their relationship to, where Marina came to love the current Rino rather than the one she attempted to make him become. Having her leave him like that kind of felt like the development of her and Rino's relationship was almost for nothing if she just went back to the future him, especially since she fell in love with the past Rino.
Not only would doing this have been better, but they also could have made the manga a volume or two longer. Having changed the past from what Marina knew (i.e. Rino's marriage to Masaki, the loss of his friends, etc), they could have done something where they wondered what these changes would mean for Marina's past self, and done a few volumes on that, like that past Maina was never born, or her parents had a boy instead, making Rino and Marina wonder what would become of her or their future.
In any case, I think it would have been better if Marina stayed in the past.

Seriously, @#$% that selfish, heartless b*tch. She murders her sister because she's such a coward, and then keeps trying to run away from the pain she inflicted and keeps envisioning her as an evil hateful spirit, then tries to get rid of her presence entirely because she can't take the guilt anymore. If she wanted a sacrifice so bad, she should have slit her own throat.
And @#$% Kirie too. She acts like she knows everything when she knows nothing, and is always so eager and ready to paint Yuuko as the bad guy, not to mention being cold and heartless in her attempts to force Yuuko move on. Even after her grandmother tells the truth and confesses to murdering her sister, Kirie is still trying to find excuses to blame Yuuko and absolve her grandmother. It seriously pisses me off. Screw them both.

I totally agree, I was so pissed off when I was reading about the past, I mean the younger sister let the guys broke her leg and threw her into the basement to starve to death, she could have helped her after she cooled off, she must have known that what she did was horrible and it takes at least two days before you starve to death, I mean the little sister was a cowardly bitch to began with, how could she even lived with herself (╬ ̄皿 ̄) aghr so angry
otherwise the best horror/mystery manga I've ever read, to make me feel any kind of strong emotion ... good job (●'◡'●)ノ

General rules for length of time without to cause death; Air: 3-4 minutes; Water 3-4 days; Food 3-4 weeks (and, of course, with the time involved with the last two, there is plenty of time to go through all the discomfort involved in the body being so desperately deprived and the torture of the things you will try to do to forestall it.)

If I recall, these are the general rules for length of time without to cause death; Air - 4-6 minutes; Water - 4-6 days; Food - 4-6 weeks (and, of course, with the time involved with the last two, there is plenty of time to go through all the discomfort involved in the body being so desperately deprived and the torture of the things you will try to do to forestall it.)

I always heard survival times stated to be "the magic three of life". On average iit was:
3 days without water
3 weeks without food
3 minutes without air
3 minutes at freezing temperatures
30 seconds at boiling temperatures
Obviously there are exceptions, but as all contained 3, it was called the Magic Three.
Seriously, what the hell were the writers thinking? They built up Sotaru and Kayo's relationship through the entire story, then at the very end throw it away all away. They basically just slapped all the readers in the face.
I agree. I was also disappointed to find out they wouldn't be together at the end. but at the same time this is more realistic. i think she only thought of him as a very dear friend that saved her from her loneliness and that hellish situation. like in the case were she slept over, and his mom said if she was getting in the way, Kayo was kinda shocked that she even suggested that and instantly denied it. I think the relationship would progress into lovers if they would be older. but since they were just kids, he remains an important (probably also first) friend. and that is how she treats him when they get older. It is obvious that it those 15 years she would find love in somebody that was actually there, beside her. but I could be overthinking this, since I know how it ended ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ I am just glad that they choose someone that was a part of story, and not someone totally new. and that in the end both of them are happy, even though they are not together(▰˘◡˘▰)
