Asher, I don't think that's true. He was controlled by the person who killed Sanghee in the real world though. The person who killed Sanghee in the real world is a brainwasher/mind controller; currently controlling, Sanghee's eldest brother, the Emperor, Jinsu, and 2 other people whom I don't wanna give away, cause then it'll be too much spoiler xD

Technically, Chris is actually a Golem, and Baekjae is not actually a harmonious country that was described before. :/ I do believe that he does really care for Sanghee though.

Oh no, not Sanghee's dad xD The Emperor from the Empire, Freesia's dad. And no it wasn't, the controlling is kind of like Jinsu and the Emperor where the person still has control, and the ability to make their own decision, but just being manipulated. I think he genuinely loves Sanghee, in fact, at the very end of the novel, he felt really guilty and tried to make it up to her. Besides, I don't think he was being controlled from the very beginning.
