I’m not disagreeing but at the same time I can’t accept that he is 100% a victim I get the the couple had a hidden and sort of messy relationship, but the seme took no time to set things straight with the rapist even though he low key knew about the rapists feelings for him. And he also didn’t “seem” traumatized by the situation (idk maybe just surprised) so he should have had a formal conversation with his partner. Instead we get the whole, yeah we slept together and yadada from the rapist and the unnecessary silent treatment from the seme. And even then they don’t talk through it (but I’m trying to come to terms that some people are okay with that..?)

You should read it because it's well written but the characters are human and flawed and make mistakes (mostly the male lead). Also from the first chapter you find out it's an arranged engagement and the main couple isn't actually dating for real for most of the story. The male lead does cheat but he cheats while being fake engaged and isn't going out with the female lead. The male lead still has feelings for the female lead while they aren't actually together so that's why the readers are disgusted by him. The male lead also has some psychological issues that lean towards antisocial personality disorder/sociopathy so he's clearly not a perfect prince charming. The only people he seems to truly care about is the female lead and his great aunt and great uncle (that he calls his grandfather).
