Im not super knowledgeable about it but form what I know, autism has a broad spectrum and not all the symptoms would be usually present.
But in her case, the fact that she has difficulty understanding other people’s emotions or intentions; nonverbal facial or body gestures.
Like if your friend, your best friend suddenly starts behaving that way, you will obviously notice.
Also her lack of facial expression.
Im sure the author didn’t do it on purpose, but it feels like it.
