The author of this manga clearly asked people to not upload it anywhere else, since its free to read in the official site. Uploading it here will cause her to not get the support she needs in webtoon. The author has been so good to her fans, and never charge for it, even a hellish well made webtoon. not only that. this is her remake. she made this story up to 20 something chapters, stopped and stared again. Another person would charge a freaking premium for all that work. and she didn't. So please be respectful to her wishes. and read it in webtoon. She is one of those artists that genuine needs that support. I'm not the type to go and read mangas or webtoons in other places, specially $$$ ones. and I never voice out support for paid authors issues with free downloads in sites like mangago. but this one I support her and gladly read it on webtoon. this author deserves it after so mush work, she still presents it for free.

I was super confused when I saw it here tbh,, I am currently reading this on webtoon bc that’s where I first found it! And i see it here when it’s already free on webtoon? Talk about disappointing. Webtoon is a free app. You can read every story on there for FREE if you’re patient enough or willing to shell out some cash for the older completed stories.
Since midnight poppy land is still an ongoing project you can get caught up on webtoon for FREE without having to wait for whoever to upload the chapters here. However there may not be any explicit sex scenes since it is on webtoon. But it is still well worth the read!
Read this on Webtoon y’all! The author is working so hard and its sooo gooood

where's the last image of this chapter? sadly some of the chapters are leaving out the last page. the last page shows hakar hit with the arrow.

The guy he bumped at the start of the chapter looks like a pureblood vampyre. a human will not have their brown eyes turn to red. He also knows our K boy is a half vampyre and is in need lol (he examined him when staring at him). while I get why the director is reluctant to sleep wit K, he can lose him over the pureblood guy... does anyone have a link for the raws?? lol

For some time now seems that Nakamura is not the one drawing this series nor Sekaichii. I had read that she was just the artist and the writer was another person for both series. If she writes them or not, what is clear that she is no longer the one drawing them. The new art is boring. the character's lost the style that made Nakamura famous. and the sex scenes are no longer beautifully detailed and nice. In japan is normal for publishing comps to change artists and keep using the original artists names when characters and story belong to the publishing comp instead of the mangaka. I bloody miss the old art. I barely read this anymore since its hard to see this boring new art style. wpuld be great if anyone has a clue to what happened to Nakamura with Junjou and Sekaichii

Thanks for the clarification, I didn't know that. However sorry but I have to say that I like the new art a lot more (personal taste of course). Although I've always loved junjou and sekaiichi I didn't like the old art very much because I found the figures (faces, hair, body parts, etc.) very squared and angular (if I may say so), and the proportions a bit unnatural (especially those of the hands xD). At least in my opinion this art is way better cos it's much more realistic

Actually, if you've seen drastic improvements in the art style, it's probably because she shifted from traditional art to digital art, and somewhere along the way, her art style became softer and less crude. She's been developing as an artist and refining her style, which is why the notorious 'yaoi proportions' of the past, are no longer existent. She's more concerned with the anatomy of her characters.
Also, if you've seen Sekaiichi Hatsukoi, you'll know that she's probably got a team working alongside her, or a bunch of assistants who draw the backgrounds while she figures out all that is to do with the characters themselves.
I suppose you should look for other mangas then, because it seems as though this art style is here to stay.

To the people translating and downloading Deadlock: THANK YOU!!! keep the good work!
I'm trying to buy this series in physical format. I have vol 1, but vol 2 no idea if the english language is out. so thanks to the people working in the updates. I can follow/read the series until I can buy them.

I believe June Manga has the Eng. license.

I bought the vol 1 from a russian seller in ebay for only $11/free s&h. I was very lucky, very few sellers has it and for over $18 plus shipping. some has it for over $44
But the site Junemanga.com (former akadot) have it. I used to buy in akadot, but I still haven't order in junemanga. So I can't tell you about the customer service. You have to pay shipping. In akadot offered shipping media mail which was cheap and allowed to buy a lot for a couple of bucks for shipping. But june manga doesn't offer that cheap option. here's the link for deadlock vol 1:

Why stopped posting in here?. Pls someone pick it up?
