This made me cry the first time I read it....I hate parting ways, it's sad how life goes on even when someone you loved so much is gone. But everyone who dies is someone's friend, family or lover and this beautiful manga reminds us that we should make the best of everyday before it's too late to be with the people we cherish.
This story is truly heartbreaking in its sincerity and realistic bittersweetness. It hurts to see the beautiful Hide no longer able to live and Yuugen coming to terms with his loss. This gentle work is truly about mourning and grieving but still finding that inner strength that helps you keep going.

The Desmonds are one weird and dysfunctional family! Demetrius is apparently a sociopath in the making just like his daddy.
I feel bad for Damian. He just wants to be acknowledged and cared for by his family.
As for Anya...She'll probably continue earning Stellas and lightening bolts simultaneously until she's on the verge of either becoming an imperial student or being expulsed.

Is this a full chapter?

There are some mangakas that just pull me in no matter the story they write. Mainly because of their beautiful art and how good they are at pacing and writing their characters. Some of them are Zariya, Yoneda Kou, Ogawa Chise and definitely Tobi Washio sensei. This manga is no different, I loved it too honestly despite the unethical subject. I mean, if the tags, the title and the comments don't make it clear to you, this is incest. They may not be related by blood, but they really feel like brothers ( I actually flinched a bit, although this is definitely not the first time I've read stuff like this). But it's beautifully done so I rated it highly. I would've given it a higher rating if it weren't for that non-con incident.

Consort Ri Shu is really pitiful...I hope Jinshi gets rid of her maids. They aren't even doing their job and are even bullying her on top of that. Why is the Palace paying them again??

It's really tiresome to keep reading all the variations of the same stupidass "I hope there is no romance" comment.
If there ends up being romance just stop reading this and do the rest of us a favor already!
I dont really get the instant hate on female characters? Ffs, let them be developed a bit first and see? If the character isn't one of those annoying ones who always cause problems to the MC then I don't see why it would bother you?
And FYI, Love is a normal part of life for the majority of people, therefore it is also expected for it to be somewhat present in a slice of life genre? As long as it's not the ecchi type harem I personally don't mind it at all?
Bottom line is some of yall are downright sexist and I'm sick of you getting your panties in a bunch over potential romance.
