Tbf, Seonho decided they needed to talk things out on the same day they argued. People would usually follow Muyeong's thoughts on the matter ("Seonho must be mad... What do I do? I'll just sleep and figure things out tomorrow.").
Notice how they're still wearing the same clothes as when they were in the airport. Muyeong went back home with the same suitcase. His phone battery is low so he couldn't talk to Seonho and (mild spoilers) Seonho thought the phone was off so it's revealed that he was trying to talk to Muyeong too. Basically, everything from the airport to the confession happened all in one day.
It might not have been a good thing to do, and Seonho knows that him asking Muyeong to choose between them was terrible, ("I'm well aware that it's kind of tacky comparing myself with someone who's currently hospitalized. Hell, even I hate myself for constantly comparing myself like this!") The good thing is that he knows it was wrong and he reflected on it. He was hurt and unsure of his position against someone who's been Muyeong's long time friend. Emotions that have been bottled up would surely burst eventually.
Before that, Seonho had been understanding for 5 months, having to deal with the loss of both his assistant for work and his boyfriend (never once meeting for 2 weeks straight... even though Junseok has no shortage of nurses or family to visit). Muyeong had been surprised to see Seonho get angry, meaning Seonho had never been actually angry until that boiling point in the airport.
Also, Junseok didn't need Muyeong 24/7. There was a scene during their long awaited date where he called up Muyeong, asking if he's with Seonho.
Muyeong: What's up? Yeah, I'm having Dinner with SEONHO. (pause) Give me a break! I'm having dinner right now! Hey, you told me it's FINE FOR ME TO GO OUT FOR DINNER! Ugh, seriously...?
It was on purpose. :u Just like the scene where Junseok was subtly manipulating Muyeong by making him think his friend was contemplating on commit suicide, and then using it as an excuse to conveniently disrupt the airport date because he knew Muyeong would come running if he faked the overdose. Jesus, why can't he just talk to Muyeong normally instead of doing all that? ( ̄∇ ̄")
