I dont know abt yall but when you grow up in a abusive household you end up like your parents. and this is exactly whats happening with jaekyung. He didnt grow up getting the love he deserved so he grew up knowing nothing about how to be kind or loving to others. so he grew up thinking he has to be better than everyone to get the love he wants, but he probably realises that thats not the case. for the people that are saying that he should go to therapy. Its not that easy. Hes stubborn. He is the type of guy to say “no im fine, there is nothing wrong with me” and will get all defensive, then will start throwing hands. The only reason i dont like jaekyung is because he reminds me of my step dad too much, and the way my step dad behaved really affected me. so the way he is acting is understandable considering the way he was raised.
girl this is just false. i don’t wanna share details about my father’s childhood trauma because my friends know/use this account but anyone who knows him knows he grew up in an abusive household and if it’s one thing he definitely doesn’t do, is beat us. the one time he slapped me for something when i was younger (that i genuinely believe, looking back now, he let me off way too easy for) he apologized for it and almost hugged me right after, the only reason he didn’t is because my mother stopped him. we are not our trauma, and i know a good handful of people who grew up in a household where their parent/parents used to literally beat them up (and im not talking spanking, im talking fully busting their lip and leaving bruises) and neglect them who grow up to be the complete opposite (very docile to the point of timidness and in some cases overly conscious of other’s needs). i’m not saying it’s impossible for abusive victims to grow up to be abusive like their parents but stating that all people who grow up abused turn out abusive as if it’s fact is very damaging and misleading .
ok one thing abt what you said. you said that i stated all people get abusive like their parents cuz they grew up in an abusive household but i never said that ALL people do? i was abused, sexually harassed and even almost got raped by my own stepfather and my actual father threatened to throw me out the window and did the same with my older brother, mind you we were living in a flat at the time, but that was because he was drunk and was never sober. theres also a lot of people on this site that seem to misunderstand what im saying. What im saying is that its understandable how jaekyung is behaving but of course ITS NOT OK. not trying to fight or anything, just giving my opinion how everyone does in the comment section.
