I really love this manga.Like, REALLY LOVE IT. The plot, the art style, the characters and all are amazing and thats what made me follow this manga till the very end. However, after hundreds and hundreds of chapthers with absolutely NO real progress between the main characters, I'm reaching my limit already. Dont get me wrong, there was a little progress, and Kyoko development as an actress was very amazing, BUT every single GODDAMN time there IS progress in the romance, THEY GO BACK TO HOW IT WAS. IM SORRY GUYS BUT THIS MANGA, RIGHT NOW, IS ONLY SERVING TO ANNOY ME WITH THE MOST SLOW PACE I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE (╯°Д °)╯╧╧ JESUS CHRIST NOT EVEN ONE PIECE DRAGS THE HISTORY THIS MUCH
Its taking WAY too long for each one of them to get their own shit together alright? The author's stalling, and instead of building anticipation for the gran finale, its annoying everyone. The plot, wich was pretty smooth to understand, is now becoming way too complicated and fussing over pointless things, and guess what's the problem with that? People decide to take a breake from this manga for a while to wait for more chapters and see if something actually happens, but when they take it over from where they left it, guess what ? THEY DONT FUCKING KNOW WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON BECAUSE THIS PLOT IS BECOMING COMPLICATED AND IS MISSING THE MAIN POINT :
1. KYOKO AND REN'S LOVE REALSHIONSHIP
2. KYOKO'S SUCESS AS AN ACTRESS
exactly how i feel. the last two sentences basically summed it up. i keep checking back in and become disappointed because nothing is happening..
I've read this manga like..2 years ago? And really, I loved it a LOT, mainly because I like those "modern girl goes to the past/another world and fix shits up" kind of histories, like anotolia, from far away and many others. But,....now that this is updating again I've decided to read it all over from the beggining,and..well, now I'm thinkinf that MAYBE I shouldn't have done that (￣∇￣")
Beacuse, y'know; now i'm starting to notice small details that I did not see before (I'm that happens a lot to some people), maybe because I wa too naive back then (?) But my point is, those details are rubbing me on the wrong way.
1. I thought mephis had become gentler towards his people and carol, but in reallity, no, he's still the same jerk that's going to flip over if things doesn't go in his way, so its stupid when carol says she's gonna stay and love him because she thinks he's an nicer person
2. I had not noticed they actually HAD sex in their wedding night ( LOL),SO I WAS ALL ANXIOUS FOR NOTHING, THANK YOU VERY MUCH
3. Even thou its completly understandable, he's still an arrogant asshole
All in all, thoses details took a bit of my perspective of "romance" out of the history. Guess I really was a little naive...well, i still like the history soooo, gotta keep up with the upates
Note that Memphis is nicer when compared to the jerks who keep kidnapping and hurting her. She needs to rely on someone if she's going to survive in that ancient world, and Memphis is the nicest man she is able to rely on. (I'm looking at this like Stockholm syndrome). He is still a jerk, but he's not as bad as the other jerks.
