omgosh I didn't know what to expect cause I only remember reading Haga-kun by this author, BUT WOW this hits a bunch of feels with the additional context from the translators I really really enjoyed this ;; as heart breaking as it is it's so beautiful!

Gotta say it takes work to upload even a placeholder, so this meticulous effort is kinda amazing.

after chap4's cliff hanger I was expecting 10+ chapters to resolve everything and or more drama, but it only took 1 ngl that's kinda refreshing. I wish it was longer tho cause the art is so cute, maybe they'll come back with an extra or a new series TT

In other news, the original Japanese title is kinda punny as mentioned in the first chapter MC has SOBAkasu (freckles) and the og title sounds like a pun on that cause it says "Anata no Osoba ni." Osoba generally means next to/beside, but the the Japanese Osoba written in the title is in katakana おソバ if they wanted to get creative with the title an alternative translation could be "Freckles beside you" or "To be your Freckles" Heads up, these are just my own interpretations they aren't accurate.

I do believe he's the og Go since MC said the confession was 7 years ago and the ML is said to be "18" atm SO! There is a possibility that he was in a coma for the last 7 years which is why he's still "18" and in school.
more reasons to believe he's the og Go is cause of all the memories they share, the flower shop dream, the flower confession, and how he recognized the appearance of the shared home.
The last name part is what's throwing me off cause MC knew him as Go Mukahi, new Go is Go Miyajima. Usually this is the case of a character misunderstanding how to read the characters of someones name, or parents divorced etc.
