I agree but I think it goes with the mess and inner turmoil the characters have in certain moments. So I believe it fits
Yeah... Imo it's pretty but it's too much... like, maximalism? Too much frills, patterns, colors... and the coloring is more watercolor and helps with this pretty but kinda messy feeling...
