I can't comprehend how people who have read the novel find his chasing arc satisfying. He was never threatened of losing Erna, that's how cocky he is. And no, I won't count the scenario of Erna possibly dying in the train accident enough for Bjorn to show how much he loved her. That was so corny in every cliche textbook.

mc can see ghosts and her sister was once possessed. both are kept secret because those things could get her family killed. mc cherishes her new family because they’re much better than her family in her past life. she overhears a ghost talking about a plot to kill the second prince of the empire and realizes that if she helps him, he would owe her a favor and could use that favor to guarantee the protection of her family. so despite a voice in her head speaking, she decides to get involved and help the second prince survive despite it being against her normal actions.
this is the premise of the story. it gets much deeper than this honestly, it’s my favorite manhwa to this date. many ppl struggle w understanding it though so if plot heavy stories confuse you easily then it might be better to either wait until it’s finished so keeping track is easier or skip this read. i’d also recommend reading the official translation bc the fan translation for this story is horrendous and makes a plot heavy story sound like gibberish
