Imma still say Gunjoon needs to have more self reflection. He's not wrong for expecting the things he does from sunbae but he is wrong because he doesn't do those things himself and kinda unilaterally expects honesty, communication, and love.

this is probably the only manga that has made me feel where if the people I ship don't get together it's okay, because they already have such a genuine beautiful relationship. They both care about each other so much and are sooooo respectful of each other boundaries, I love it.

I don't think Sunbae is a green flag buuuut one thing I don't get about mangas is why Gunjoon expects Sunbae to completely change once they start "dating".
Sunbae has consistently been like this. Gunjoon is the one who actually hasn't shown consistency, starting out from randomly judging and hating on Sunbae to then falling head over heels.
This is like the same logic of "if we have kids our relationship will get better". NO IT WON'T??? Just because the status of your relationship changes doesn't mean the individual will magically become a different person???

Do I endorse Sunbae behaviour? Fuck no. But Gunjoon ain't right either.

Juheon knew he assumed shit about Doyun liking him, , Juheon knows Doyun can't process emotions the way normal people can.
I get the first reaction of Juheon being pissed and leaving. What I don't get is Juheon acting like an asshole 2 weeks later when he's had time to cool off a little. You can't just say I'm mad so I'm going to forget literally everything I've learnt about you as a person.

I hate it when ML's act all high and mighty being like "oh I'm gonna solve everything myself I don't need your support" and then later they'll be the one breaking down and hugging their s/o. Like. Boy.
I'd say I'm sick of this happening in MANGAS but because this happens in real life and I'm hella salty:
Gaku, my boy, you can fuck off with your nonsense. No one forced you to date. Everyone has dreams and goals they want to achieve, and plenty of people achieve that without being assholes. Do better or break up if you can't do the bare minimum of treating your partner with the God damn respect she very well deserves.

I've been reading manga for YEARS and this is the first manga that has immediately made me look for a physical copy because the author deserves all the love and support for such amazing narration, education, and in-depth research.
So much love for this manga.
