i feel like kim dan and jaekyung perfectly depict the 2 paths that abuse victims usually go down.
kim dan suffered his abuse and used that experience to be kind and gentle to others. jaekyung on the other hand suffered abuse and it made him spiteful of the world, causing him to later become an abuser himself.
i really empathize for both of their childhood versions, and kim dan’s adult version HOWEVER jaekyung’s treatment towards kim dan and using him as an expendable sex toy will never be justified
