As i understood in the raws, hosik is alive in this current era. They both reincarnated but i think seungyeon is the only one that has the memory of the past life. I dont know if hosik does cuz i cant understand the raws.

They meet later.. this extra chapter is about the events before Hyung meets Hosik in real..
They both reincarnated to the present time but only hyung remembers things from the past (his time with hosik and hosik's death) but Hosik has no memory of his past life..
From what I've read so far the initial story is about Hosik and Sunbae in their recent life where Sunbae remembers everything and meets Hosik and Hosik gets pregnant and all that.
The previous side story is when Hosik and Sunbae had to seperate because Sunbae was of nobility and had to produce heir.
But this latest side story is where Sunbae is reincarnated and remembers everything. But He doesn't get to meet Hosik because Hosik dies before they can meet. So.Sunbae goes into depression because he has memories of Hosik but can't meet him for the rest of his life.
