Loved the story.
Chiwoo is so strong I admire him. He tried his best to keep track of Jihyun but they needed a more stronger support system. I think that Chiwoo really loved Jihyun but never realized it or accept it. That's why it hurt him even more what Jihyun did to him. He only got scared of him. He lost so many things at that moment.
I love Kyujin for supporting Chiwoo along the way without asking so many questions. Above all for waiting and having patience. Doing things the right... proper way.
Jihyun if he had responsible family he wouldn't have turned out like he did. His family didn't actually cared about him they just cared for their image. Brother tried but they already let him do whatever he wanted by paying off the other people. He never understood his wrong doings.
Because your family is abusing or neglecting you doesn't mean your are going to beat up and rape your only best friend.. Jihyun is a j@rk and possessive even if his family was okay I am sure he still will be kind aggressive.
My boy Chiwoo for sure loved him but I am not sure if it was in an romantic way.. in my eyes was more friendship love. Chiwoo is definitely one of my favorite bl characters. And he is one of a few characters that didn't forgive his rapist ( I am tired reading stories full of mcs that are so letting out of the hook their toxic relationships)
Kyujin is best second male ever.. not only he won our mc but he is just the sweetest

Never said I justified Jihyn behavior or actions. There is no excuse for what he did. True that. HE IS A JERK and EVERYTHING he did was wrong. He even deserved jail time.
What I said was that his family was part of the problem. Not once they made him aknowledge his wrong doings... just to keep their family reputation safe.
And yes perhaps even with a good family and attention he would still do the same. But In this specific case.. story.... his family only added fuel to his actions.

Is just I don't pity him at all.. and I found myself enjoying when in the parallel world Jihyun said to Chiwoo "I love you" the second one didn't said back.. as the author said Jihyun don't deserve to be forgiven even in the parallel world..
Finally.... kind of aknowledge he loves our boy.

If he wasnt interested in the guy he could just keep ignoring the letters. But it was late... he already had the blondie in his mind.
He did well breaking up with her if he already had the guy in his mind. It would have been worst if he kept on with her thinking about him.
They were meant for each other.
Both had messed up childhood.
Both wanted to love and be loved.
They went to the extreme Jooin with the kidnapping and May abandoning the cat to take his place... but they both understood each other.
I honestly loved the part when Jooin went to the "pet shop" and got all those "cat toys". At least he got a good teacher to tell him how to use them. That was cute!
The toxic level of this relationships are overwhelming.
Yule showed so many red flags while he was dating Gyeongsoo but he was so blind he didn't catch them. Like the time at the restaurant when they where talking about things he owned etc.
Yule needs help and I hope that now that he knows he has a heart he can actually work on mending his relationships.
I wished Gyeongsoo stayed with Donghyuk but I understand why he let him go. It was the fair thing to do in order to save him from been more damaged.
The end.... I just hope that now that Yule is getting better he tried to meet up with Gyeongsoo to finally talk and apologize for all his wrong doing and thats about it.
I hope they don't get to meed after that ever again.
I didn't like the rape part but the rest of the story it was great. Emotionally draining their love.
He always said the thruth... he told him he had to get married. He explained his situation. They both knew what will happen after he got out. They kept the relationship and communication for as long as they could until he got married. After that the relationship kind of faded away to the back burner because of life compromises and reality.
Not to justify what he did... but he gave up a great military career and the love of his life just to satisfy his parents demands. The frustration and resignation must have been overwhelming. I think this is what the Sgt saw and why he never talked about the rape. (again I'm not justifying just looking to see where this raping came from... etc.)
About the wife... This wasn't a relationship build on love it was just a contract to fulfill on both parts. I mean marrying the little brother of your dead fiance can't be all emotionally great. I am sure she was equally tired of all the drama and knowing she was sick it was right of her to want to have a kid fast so the family issue gets resolve and they both can "live better". He stood with his wife during her sickness and respected her. Now both parties (parents) are happy cause they have an offspring.
Now that parents got what they wanted he can now be free and love whoever he wants and have the life he wants.
I love Chiwoo 5yrs after. OMG... he is so adorably hot and sassy. His long hair looks so nice. Kyujin is the same as always only older and bigger... and sexier... lol!
I liked that Jihuyn showed up and they talked. It was short but meaningful for both parts. It is also part of the healing process and makes you re evaluate where you are standing. Seen Jihyun looking at them from the back seat and then sobbing was painful but that's what he got for all he did.... he now understand everything that he lost.
Chiwoo showed Jihyun that he could live on after all the damage he caused him. Jihyun used to say that he was all Chiwoo had and Chiwoo once again proved him wrong. He showed how strong he is.
People say Jihuyn doesn't deserve to be forgiven but you forgive others not for the others sake but for your own sake and personal growth. Only if you forgive you can move on. Now that doesn't mean he has to forget what happened and clearly Chiwoo has not forgotten what happen but he decided to move on and live on.
LOVED the parallel story for Chiwoo and Jihyun... that "what if" was amazing. I totally believed they could have been happy.
