I think that after spending with Izumi he finally realize what a good relationship is about two people not one. He cared for Izumi but at that moment he couldn't give Izumi what he wanted. That's why he let him go.
If he was a real jerk he could have kept using Izumi until he found a new girl but he didn't he actually told Izumi to become an adult. Get life experience. Go out see the world... meet other people better than him.
Also don't know if you guys noticed but on that last time they spent together I think it was the 1st time they actually had sex (penetration). Izumi blindfolded him... Kuma seemed surprised when he felt Izumi mounted him. He even tried to stop him but Izumi really wanted to feel Kuma for the last time since it would be their last time together. Meaning Izumi accepted this was the end for them at that moment.
You see that even after all those years Kuma still remembers and cherish Izumi. He misses him. (I liked the story behind the bear character)
That last conversation they had after finally having sex... Izumi tells him about his future plans that he wanted to become a teacher like Kuma he goes on saying "when I'm not a minor anymore when I have become an adult and Kuma is still single then." Meaning he had hope they can be together then. And this is shown to us from Kuma's memories and the next thing we see is Kuma looking at the "new" teacher at school... implying it is Izumi.
The only thing was the pee part but the rest. It was good.

I liked the extra story. It gave us a background story to the relationship between Doumu and Ryouji that was hinted in earlier chapters.
It seems they had a friends with benefits type of relationship after their misunderstanding. They both "lost" their younger siblings and somehow comforted each other loneliness. They both care and loved each other in their own way but it is not the lovey dovey couple love.
Doumu waited for Ryouji so he could properly say good bye. But he left with a "promise" of returning and told him to study cause he hated stupidity. Ryouji said he will always follow him.
Doumu I admire him. He set bonduries he didn't demand or asked anything emotionally from Ryouji. He surely loved Ryouji in his own way and care greatly for him. He never never kissed with Ryouji.. not even when they said good bye. He was about to graduate so he didn't want to leave things unresolved.
Years later we can see they still kept their frienship. Doumu did what he promised came back built a company... I believe Ryouji studied as well and ended up working for him. Now they are actually family ('cause their younger siblings got married to each other in the end) but that's all there is. Ryouji still admires Doumu and Doumu still cares for Ryouji but they are just friends.
That relationship was just a thing of youth in the past.
Also the resgistration manager is the guy that asked Doumu if he could fight with Ryouji back at the school and then Doumu kicked him and he lost his teeth. So even him is still around. LOL!
All the cuteness. The characters were so cute and unique. I like we didn't get too much info on their school life... just the one that was necessary. Liked that part where they hold hands at school
The foreplay and sex was pleasing. Enjoyed every part of it. Also that he didn't get his memories back. Tarou really loved Fuji. He was so strong and determined. Their long hair was awesome as well. I like long hair guys.

I loved every moment Gusam and Suchae spent together. It was all so precious. Even in the short time they were together they loved each other so me and with so much passion it was insane.
I wasn't happy with the death of the detective but.... you reap what you sow, right? Even with his death none one got justice.
If they just had someone who believed in them and did their work the right way they would have been saved. Suchae would go free cause it was self defense. The guy tried to rape him or raped him.
And I'm sure K had everything to do with what happened since he drugged Gusam... he was into him as well.
I knew I read or saw this story somewhere. I liked the live action. But the manga has so many more details that it is good to read it.

Really like the characters back story. They both suffer traumatic situations and were overwhelmed by them. They both tried to deal with them their own way but they just needed someone to help them out. That why them been together is so fulfilling. They are no longer fighting with their past alone.
