Bisexual people also exist, isn’t not mentioned at any point that he’s strictly homosexual. He fell in love with Rachel for the same reason he would have fallen in love with Noah. I think that reason was always more important than their gender, although I do admit it feels like a very unnecessary distinction to make both couples (Duke x Liam and Lucian x Noah) in the story gay only to change it later.

Wooyeon is not an independent character. He is written to accomodate Eunghyeon’s misbehavior. Compare his mentality, behavior, actions, and thought processes when he is and is not in conflict with Eunghyeong. Teo separate personalities will emerge. Authors love to write domineering/controlling/toxic male leads, but never want to betray them as the villains they are, which requires the MC to forgive everything, do dumb/hurtful things to “justify” the treatment, and magically lack any trauma responses to obvious trauma caused by the male lead. Authors will often add physical dependencies, excessively enduring “feelings”, and a doormat switch to make the male lead look less villainous in comparison. All of the inconsistencies and annoying traits in Eooyeon’s character can directly be traced back to an attempt by the author to make the ML look better and facilitate an obviously toxic and dysfunctional relationship in a much smoother way than should be possible.
