Well the ending is okay, since Hotaka did seem to like Masato more than Chika (which he actually become confuse). I know what Chika did is wrong but he is that desperate. He know if he didn't do anything, he won't able to do it at all. He know he's short of time and his conflict with his family is something he can't solve. Tho i think his marriage wont last long.
Masato is good, he waited for him and take responsibility of his daughter. It just i don't like that he ask Hotaka when he is down and confused of the break up, when hotaka is not someone that can turn anyone down.
Overall, this story did not look toxic because of their pure friendship
Like this, straight forward and no drama.
Btw kouta in high school is eye candy.
And the roommates is okay, theyre drunk before. And Hiroto does like the ex, and he become a chef thanks to him.
