There is no way there could be a "happy ending" in the future. The storyline so far pretty much destroys that scenario. I also dont't believe the author has the intention to write a "happy ending"... Just a little reminder, Asuza used to bully people before. I know that he (hopefully) didn't do as terrible things as Karino but he surely isn't an angel himself.

That's a good point. I somehow believe her version of a happy ending and ours differ alot. Every character so far has some issues. Working on those problems might be her version of a happy ending.
I think that typical 'happy end' isn't really suited to this kind of story. I just have hope that it won't be a huge disaster and it won't leave me completely heartbroken and devastated...
I agree. She might also decide that after graduation Karino comes to his senses and work for Azusa's forgiveness. They might get together after a time skip or something.
