What if the author made a sequel, because they didn't really die. What if, Sangwoo survived the fire and went to the wall where his mom was. What if after he sneakily climbed out and snuck away. What if he lit somebody else on fire and set it up to look like him, when you burn, your facial features are unrecognizable. And what if Yoonbum wasn't ran over? All we seen was the go sign and a white light. Just saying :)
i’m not completely sure but i think it’s canon that they both died so i wouldn’t understand why the author would it make it canon and then have your theory

I loved this manga so much! It dealt with real life situations from racism to trauma, etc.

Long and thoughtful post! Generally I agree to what you're saying, though I personally do have a hard time coming to terms with Boris just leaving when he knew Tracey was getting raped. That is such a cold thing to do! In a way not trying to help is almost the same as saying that it's okay. It's not that I want Boris to suffer but I don't think it's something he can just "not feel bad about". I love that he has grown as a person, reflected on his actions, and is now one of the biggest advocates against rape. And I know everyone makes mistakes. I just wish men could understand how wrong rape is without having someone close to them being a victim of it before realising it.
And about Tracey being at peace, maybe, but committing suicide and never be able to have a future is just so very very sad.

i have read two sad bls between 12:00 AM-2:55 AM. I am not writing this and so here's my thoughts on this whole thing :)
FUCK THE SEME
His letter kinda made me cry in the end, I'll admit, he literally said he'd wait because that's what he made the uke do everday. But only cause he is physically and mentally ill and so because of the mental illness, he's in denial, not understanding the uke is actually dead. Overall, fuck him. I'm glad he was able to reflect on his actions and realize they were wrong. But, I still wish for him to suffer for his remaining days, because that's what he put the uke through everyday.
POOR BABY UKE
He just wanted to be loved again and validated again, but he couldn't get that until his last days, and when he did, he didn't accept it. I think I speak for everyone when I say we can tell he felt like he wasn't enough and deserved everything that came to him. But truth is, he didn't. You can tell he was blinded by the FAKE love the seme gave him, but because he was so used to being treated like utter trash, he thought he didn't deserve the doctors REAL love. The fact his last words were about the seme and how they should meet up after school, broke me. He was still stuck on the uke someway, somehow. My heart, soul, and shared tears, go out to him. NOBODY should ever have to feel like that on their remaining days, NOBODY should feel like that in their lifetime. I'm glad that in the end, he was able to start feeling REAL love from the doctor in his remaining days.
THE DOCTOR IS SO SWEET
I LOVE THE DOCTOR. He was able to show the uke what real love is supposed to be like, I feel bad that his love was just gradually returned. Then again, I don't blame the uke, the uke went through so much emotional abuse, he couldn't understand real love well. The doctor was just amazing except for that one unconsentful kiss. He never pressured the uke, and cared for him instead of fucking him.
