What is really interesting though is that in ancient Egyptian mythology, it was Seth who violated Horus and not the other way round, in fact it was Seth all along who desired Horus and wanted to have him under him, he was not at all innocent and had no redeeming backstory at all. He was just way too ambitious.

Ooh the overall story is the same, seth killed osiris in order to usurp the throne. Isis revives the former. Horus, osiris's son tried to reclaim it back and a huge war ensued between the two. Before that seth was sexually attracted to horus, so when the latter asked for some strength from him, seth proposed that they have intercourse. During the course of the war, Seth overpowered Horus and violated him and it was a sign of his indiscriminate sexuality. He continued this for a long time. He tried to come inside Horus because it was considered poisonous and he wanted to weaken him and probably kidnap him and keep him by his side forever but it was disrupted.

What if James left that organization knowing fully well that how fucked up they are and maybe before leaving screwed them over with something, which I believe the knowledge that Daniel and a couple of similar born fighters can topple them over. The group instead tried to get back at him by capturing his body and shifting his consciousness with Daniel's body to stop him. Because remember the director was scared when daniel tried to delve too deep into james's past.

Honestly I understand from Maxi's point of view as to why she is trying to hide the fact that she was treated poorly by her sonovabitch father. She is ashamed of being an abuse victim. She has never been taught that in such a case you need to ask for help and ask for justice. She has such low self esteem, that she is scared that once Riftan gets to know that she was treated horribly rather than like a princess, she will be perceived as a leftover thrown at Riftan. She wants to protect that dignity she has. Riftan on the other hand I am sure loves her for who she is and is incredibly broad minded for someone of that era. Girls were already treated like a burden and on top of that she has a speech impediment. Its a surprise that they did not scream "possessed". The fact that he did not treat her stutter as a disability rather, accepted her for who she is and continues to lavish her with gifts. Its very heartwarming. He is a very dominant character. I mean I see male characters in all these historical webtoons treated as alpha males. As prince, emperor and what not but I rarely do I see such an assertive character. Many females might get turned off by his approach, but for someone like Maxi, I think he is perfect. He is reassuring and strict in his fondness for her. Maybe not the best at expressing himself and bit selfish at times, but he....atleast for the time being looks like he has a good heart. Its a good character design.
