I don't hate age gaps. I'm actually on the opposite and do not understand why some against with 18 years old having a relationship with someone 5 years older or more. I just don't understand...some even are mad with 3 years age gap.
But here, I understand if some are taken a back, since he is still in highschool. The author not disclosing the age to avoid heavy discussion about them and to let readers focus their attention on the story instead, which is fine. I feel like we all can agree that he should be in college but for me personally this shows how highschool are in sensitive stage of their life so I get it him meeting hirose.
I observed that Snowy's type of person is always attracted to someone who is mature and older than them. I would not dare to question his feelings for hirose. Since they are intellectual people and they always want someone who is not immature like someone on their age.
